NetSuite Senior Technical Solution Architect

Position Overview: SquareWorks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Senior Technical Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust NetSuite technical solutions that meet our clients' complex business requirements. As part of this work, you will liaise with SquareWorks functional resources to gather client requirements, create comprehensive solution documentation, and guide internal and client testing. Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate, along with client SMEs and SquareWorks functional resources, in requirements gathering activities related to NetSuite technical customizations.
2. Design and document end-to-end NetSuite technical solutions that meet client requirements and align with best practices and industry standards. Solutions will include elements such as scripted customizations, complex reports/searches (SQL/SuiteQL), technical form modifications (HTML and FreeMarker), system integrations, and data models/data warehousing.
3. Lead the implementation of NetSuite technical solutions, managing related activities such as coding, configuration, testing (internal and client), and deployment.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to functional project teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
5. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to maximize the efficiency and scalability of existing NetSuite solutions.
6. Stay informed about the latest NetSuite technical features, enhancements, and updates, and recommend best practices to clients.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional resources, product engineers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
8. Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting technical NetSuite solutions.
• Deep technical expertise in the NetSuite platform, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including multi-tenancy, scalability, and security.
• Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and middleware platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Workato, etc.).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, FreeMarker, and other programming languages and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels and to work collaboratively across internal teams.
• NetSuite certifications: SuiteFoundations, SuiteCloud Developer 2, SuiteAnalytics preferred.
• Experience with other ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
